(Ar-Room) 30 : 36
وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا بِهَا ۖ وَإِنْ تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ
And when We let mankind taste Mercy, they rejoice in it; but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they become desperate.
Every Good is from Lord and evil is from oneself as explained in verses 4: 78-79. So whoever holdfasts the Safeguard Adhikr, he did holdfast Lord and is guided into the Straightpath. Only with Adhikr one can keep the remembrance of the Lord and control his Jinn soulmate as explained in verse 8: 48. See explanation 3: 101-102; 23: 97-98 and 29: 45.
